Window Cleaning in the Coachella Valley: What to Include

When windows look dusty or spotted, the first decision is what you want cleaned. Exterior glass, interior glass, screens and tracks are separate parts of the job. Defining them before you book makes the estimate clearer and helps avoid surprises on cleaning day.

Lemonade Exterior Cleaning & Home Improvement is based in La Quinta and provides window cleaning across the Coachella Valley. Use this guide to choose the scope that fits your home or business.

Choose interior glass, exterior glass or both

Look at your windows from both sides. Exterior dust and spots may be your main concern, while fingerprints or smudges may be on the inside. Tell Andre which sides you want included and identify sliding glass doors or other glass areas separately.

For a storefront, explain which panes and doors need attention, your opening hours and any access restrictions. For a home, mention furniture, shutters or other items near the windows so preparation can be discussed before the visit.

Ask about screens and tracks separately

A glass-cleaning estimate does not automatically tell you whether screens and tracks are included. Ask for these items by name. Note any torn mesh, bent screen frames, damaged tracks or windows that are difficult to open.

If you are comparing estimates, compare the same scope: the same windows, the same sides of the glass, and the same screen and track work. A lower price may simply cover fewer items.

Mention stubborn spots before the visit

Hard-water stains, paint splatter, adhesive residue and old window film need a separate assessment from routine cleaning. Describe what you see and share a close photo if convenient. You do not need to identify the cause yourself.

Cleaning surface buildup cannot guarantee the repair of damaged glass. Tell Andre about existing scratches, coatings, tint or film, and any previous treatment. Follow your window or film manufacturer's care instructions; products and methods suitable for one type of glass may be unsuitable for another. Andersen's care and maintenance resources are one example of product-specific guidance.

Choose timing around the condition of your windows

There is no single cleaning schedule that suits every property. Check how quickly dust, fingerprints or visible spots return and which windows matter most to you. A frequently used glass entry may need attention at a different time from an upper-story window.

When requesting an estimate, say whether you want a one-time visit or would like to discuss repeat service. If you have a preferred date or need the work coordinated with a tenant, property manager or HOA, include that information early.

Send the details that make an estimate useful

  • Your city and approximate number of windows.

  • Interior cleaning, exterior cleaning or both.

  • Whether you want screens, tracks and glass doors included.

  • The number of stories and any difficult-to-reach areas.

  • Visible stains, residue, film or existing damage.

  • Your preferred timing and any access restrictions.

Photos are optional. Take them only from a safe, accessible position; you do not need to climb to show an upper window. For a project combining windows with pressure washing, gutters or solar panels, see our exterior cleaning quote checklist.
